Sweet popcorn… We love caramel popcorn! This recipe is super easy to make. Plus, you won’t ever need to buy some at the grocery store again!
This caramel popcorn is ready in less than 30 minutes and requires only a few ingredients. For sweet and salty lovers, you could even sprinkle fleur de sel on your popcorn before baking it. Yum!
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or with parchment paper.
In a small pan, heat the maple syrup to 115 °C (240 °F). Then, add the salted butter.
Meanwhile, in a large pan, pour the canola oil and kernels. Cover. Let the kernels pop, stirring occasionally.
Pour the maple syrup in the popcorn pan. Then, quickly transfer onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
Popcorn can be kept in a sealed container during a few days. However, it’s better to make a smaller quantity so that the caramel popcorn is always fresh!
