The sauce must be just below the boiling point. This slow-cooking method tenderizes the meat and enhances the flavours of the ingredients. On the other hand, a boiling sauce will harden the meat. Preparation Switch to cook mode Marinated chicken Step 1 In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients with the chicken cubes. If possible, let marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours. Butter sauce Step 2 Over low heat, heat the butter in a large pan. Add the onions and cook slowly for 20 minutes until they are golden. Step 3 Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Cover and let simmer over medium-low heat until the chicken is well-cooked, or about 15 minutes.
