Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or with parchment paper.
In a small pan, heat the maple syrup to 115 °C (240 °F). Then, add the salted butter.
Meanwhile, in a large pan, pour the canola oil and kernels. Cover. Let the kernels pop, stirring occasionally.
Pour the maple syrup in the popcorn pan. Then, quickly transfer onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
