Large eggs
2% M.F. milk
Freshly squeezed orange juice
Vanilla extract
Brown sugar
Ground cinnamon
Ground nutmeg
Multigrain bread slices
Vegetable oil
Ripe bananas, cut lengthwise
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, orange juice, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Dip the bread slices in the bowl, 2 at a time, and let them soak in the egg mix for 2 minutes.
Place a slice of bread in an oiled waffle maker. Add ½ a banana and cover with another slice of bread. Cook 2 minutes or until the sandwich is golden.
Repeat these steps for the 3 other sandwiches.
