Semi-sweet chocolate
Hot chocolate mix
Dehydrated mini marshmallows
Candy canes
Powdered peanut butter
Cinnamon
Chai spices mix
Skor chipits
Toffee
Melt the chocolate using a microwave-safe bowl or a double boiler.
Note: It’s essential that 85% of the chocolate be melted for a polished and crisp result. That being said, you simply need to heat the chocolate gently. Once most of it (85%) is melted, remove from heat. Then, mix constantly to dissolve the remaining chunks.
Coat the mold with a fine layer of chocolate. Refrigerate about 10 minutes. Repeat a second time to make two layers.
At this point, wear gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints on your chocolate spheres. Once the chocolate hardens, gently unmold. Fill with the hot chocolate mix, dehydrated mini marshmallows, candy canes, and any other garnish of your choice.
Note: Fill only one half of the sphere.
Slightly heat up a plate in the microwave (about 1 minute). Then, place the empty part of the sphere on the plate for a few seconds.
Note: The goal is to melt the rim a little so that you can seal the chocolate bomb.
Carefully place the empty half on top of the filled part of the sphere.
Decorate the hot cocoa bombs.
Note : Drizzle melted (but room temperature) chocolate (white, semi-sweet or black), then add crushed candy canes or rainbow sprinkles. If you want, you can also decorate it as a snowman or queen.
