Preheat the oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
Mix all the ingredients except the rice papers.
Fill a small bowl with lukewarm water.
Cut the rice papers in strips using scissors.
Note: By cutting the rice papers on the length, you should get pieces with nearly the same dimensions as bacon slices.
Generously brush 2 rice paper strips with the marinade, then stick them together, face to face, and baste the sides with lukewarm water. Repeat for all the other slices.
Place the vegan bacon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Baste each slice with a bit of marinade again.
Cook in the oven for 5 to 7 minutes or until the vegan bacon is golden and cripsy.
