Extra-lean ground beef
Onion, chopped
Garlic, finely chopped

Pepper
Italian seasoning
Marinara sauce
Low-sodium chicken broth
Milk
Malfadine pasta, in pieces
Mozzarella cheese, grated
Italian parsley
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s golden.
Add the onion and garlic and stir. Season with salt and pepper, then add the italian seasoning. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent, or about 3 minutes.
Add the marinara sauce, chicken broth, milk, and pastas. Mix well. Bring to a boil, then cook over low heat for about 15 minutes or until the pastas are well-cooked. Note that most of the sauce will be absorbed.
Incorporate the cheese and cook for 1 more minute until it’s melted.
Finally, garnish the pasta with chopped italian parsley and serve immediately.
