In a pan, cook the blackberries, blueberries, vanilla, sugar, and water over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Coarsely crush the fruits using a fork. Incorporate the chia seeds. Reduce to low heat and cook 5 more minutes.
Meanwhile, toast the slices of bread.
In a small bowl, mix the goat cheese with the cottage cheese.
Finally, spread a generous amount of the cheese preparation unto the toasts. Garnish with the berry compote and a few mint leaves. Enjoy!
