Green onions, finely chopped
Limes (zest and juice)
Fresh coriander, finely chopped
Chili powder
Vegetable oil
Hot sauce
Salt and pepper
Brown rice, cooked
Canned corn
Canned tuna
Black olives, sliced
Plum tomato, diced
English cucumber, sliced
Avocado, diced
Mache lettuce, mesclun, or lettuce
Fried onions (homemade or shop-bought)
Prepare the dressing directly at the bottom of a 1L mason jar.
Add all the taco salad ingredients except the fried onions in the order listed above. Put the lid and keep in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
Note : For the fried onions (or any crispy fillings), it’s better to keep them in a seperate sealed container and add them to the salad when serving.
