Olive oil
Four spices
Yellow curry powder
Sugar
Salt and pepper
Shrimps, peeled and deveined
Mango
Coleslaw
Lime, squeezed
Black beans, drained and rinsed
Ground cumin
Cayenne pepper
Fresh cilantro, coarsely chopped
Tortillas or hard shell tacos
Avocado
In a bowl, mix the quatre épices, curry powder, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper. Add the shrimps and coat with the spice mix. Set aside.
Finely slice the mango and add to the coleslaw.
In a non-stick skillet, cook the shrimps over medium heat during 5 minutes, or until they are pink. Remove from heat and drizzle with lime juice.
Mix the black beans with the cumin and Cayenne pepper. Season with salt and pepper. Add cilantro to taste.
Finally, set the spicy shrimps, coleslaw, seasoned beans, tortillas (or hard shells), and avocado slices on the table so that everyone can make their own tacos.
