Just like most Asian dishes, this marinade’s flavours are intense and distinct. We love the flavour mix (sweet, salty, spicy, tangy, and sometimes even bitter) of this cuisine for chicken marinades. It’s the best for delicious and juicy poultry! Have a side of salad or a stir-fry with your marinated chicken!
Garlic cloves, finely chopped
Toasted sesame oil
In a large bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients.
Add the chicken (about 454 g, whole or diced). Keep in the refrigerator for at least 4 to 6 hours.
Cook your preferred way (grill pan, barbecue, oven…).
You can substitute the wasabi sauce with any spicy sauce of your choice. You can also adjust the quantity depending on you or your family’s tolerance. But wasabi sauce can be found with other Asian condiments or near the sushi counter in most grocery stores.
