This unique dumpling salad is perfect for Asian food lovers… or anyone, because who doesn’t like Asian flavours? Had you ever thought of including dumplings in your salad? It’s in fact the perfect occasion to use those homemade or shop-bought dumplings forgotten in the freezer. Plus, this recipe combines a variety of fresh vegetables and aromas of all sorts in one dish! It’s colourful, nutritious and filling (just like this Asian chicken salad)!
Toasted sesame oil
Fresh ginger, grated
Cabbage of choice (green, red, Chinese, etc.)
Bell pepper, julienned
Green onions, finely chopped
Fresh coriander, coarsely chopped
Black sesame seeds
In a large bowl, whisk all the dressing ingredients together.
Add the vegetables. Toss gently. Let stand 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the dumplings your preferred way.
Finally, serve the salad and dumplings in bowls. Garnish with fresh coriander, green onions, and sesame seeds.
